On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to thank you for your intention
to participate at the Workshop. Below we present the rules for publishing your report summaries
and the Workshop Proceedings, as well as the rules for your accommodation and your registration fees.
Please observe these rules, including: the deadline provided below for submitting the summary and the
total matter of your report; a timely booking of your accommodation in Tomsk for the Workshop, whether
on your own, or via the Organizing Committee; keeping the Organizing Committee duly informed as to the
time and date of your arrival/departure, including the need, if any, for collecting you at the airport, etc.
General Information
The International Workshop SFP-2016 will be held in Tomsk, Russia, from June 5 (day of arrival)
to June 12 (day of departure) 2016. The working days are June 6-11, one of which is set aside for
cultural events. The Workshop will take place at the premises of the National Research
Tomsk State University (TSU), Tomsk, Lenin Ave 36. The working language of the Workshop
is English.
A special session of the Workshop will be held on June 11 at the Tomsk State Pedagogical
University (TSPU) and will be devoted to the 40-th anniversary of the creation of a
theoretical physics group in TGPU, where, in particular, studies began on QFT with strong
fields. Formation of many well-known scientists started with this group.
Publication of Summaries and Proceedings
Please submit the summary of your report to the Organizing Committee of the Workshop by email,
no later than April 15, 2016. The summary is to be typeset in English using LaTex or MS Word
and must contain a title, a list of authors with their affiliations, and a brief abstract.
The summary must not exceed 1500 characters including spaces. If the actual summary of your report has
been already submitted along with your registration form, you do not need to resubmit your summary.
The Workshop Proceedings will be published in a special issue of Russian Physics Journal at the
end of 2016, or in the first half of 2017. Articles that have not been included in the special issue
will be published in subsequent issues of the journal with an indication of the SFP-2016 Workshop.
Materials submitted for publication in the Workshop Proceedings should be original scientific articles
not exceeding 5 pages. Articles will be reviewed upon submission.
"Russian Physics Journal"
is bilingual and publishes articles submitted in English or Russian. Authors speaking both these
languages are kindly requested to submit their articles in both English and Russian.
The Organizing Committee will publish articles set up in LaTeX or Microsoft Word for Windows,
versions 2, 6, 7, 8. The main matter of an article should be typeset as one column, single-spaced,
font size 11 pt. The band of typing (headers and footers not included) on a page should be sized as
25 by 16.5 cm.
As far as LaTeX is concerned, you are requested to typeset displayed equations and matrices using
only the simplest environments \equation, \eqnarray, \array. Using the command \renewcommand to override
the standard commands is not allowed. Figures should be attached as separate files in a format that
allows for editing.
Please send the files of you articles to be published in the Workshop Proceedings to the address
sfp@phys.tsu.ru before July 1, 2016.
Accommodation of Participants
The Organizing Committee may offer a number of accommodation options for the participants during
the Workshop, with different levels of comfort and prices:
Tomsk State University Hotel (booking is made through the Organizing Committee, the lodgings are limited)
apartment hotels near the TSU premises (booking is made through the Organizing Committee)
city hotels (booking is normally made by lodgers themselves)
a new comfortable residential complex for TSU students (this offer is made only for (under)graduate students among the participants)
TSU Hotel (University premises, sixth floor, no elevator)
Accommodation prices at the TSU Hotel per person per night:
suit with improved comfort – 1400 rubles;
one-room suit – 1200 rubles;
two-room suit – 850 rubles;
five-room suit – 700 rubles;
breakfast – 150 rubles.
Apartment hotels"Aries" and
"Athens Quarter" are
within a 10-15 minutes’ walk from the TSU premises.
The price of accommodation per night ranges between 1700, 1000 and 800 rubles for a single, double,
and triple accommodation, respectively. Breakfast costs 300 rubles. The apartment hotel administration
imposes an additional one-time payment up to 1000 rubles for registration of foreign nationals.
We also recommend the following city hotels for self-booking: for instance, the four-star hotel
Bon Apart is within a 5-minutes' walk from
the TSU premises, the Sputnik Hotel is within a
10-minutes' walk from TSU, the
Siberia Hotel is within a 15-20 minutes' walk
(2 bus stops by public transport) from TSU, the
Oktyabrskaya Hotel is within a 30-40 minutes'
walk (4 bus stops by public transport) from TSU.
Students and graduates, while participating at the Workshop, may be lodged in a new comfortable
residential complex (Sail)
for TSU students at the lowest prices (about 10 rubles per day).
For early booking, please inform the Organizing Committee as soon as possible of your wishes as
to your lodging (location and type of accommodation: TSU Hotel or an apartment hotel; single,
double accommodation, etc.). If you have booked a hotel on your own, please keep us informed as well.
Travelling to Tomsk
Tomsk Airport is located 20 km away from the city and receives daily flights from Moscow (Sheremetyevo
and Domodedovo airports), as well as flights from St. Petersburg twice a week. At the airport land side,
you may take the shuttle bus number 119, travelling directly to the "Tomsk State University" bus stop.
When travelling to Tomsk by train, you must take a train to the "Tomsk I" railway station, and then
proceed from the station square by buses number 2, 4, 119, 442, or by trolley bus number 4, directly
to the "Tomsk State University" bus stop.
Alternatively, you may take advantage of the
"Tolmachevo" International Airport
in Novosibirsk,
located 400 km away from Tomsk. You may reach Tomsk from Novosibirsk by intercity bus, starting
from the Novosibirsk bus station and travelling to the Tomsk bus station (the bus and railway
stations in Tomsk are located near each other on the same station square), or by train from the
railway station of Novosibirsk.
Other things being equal, or if you travel from Moscow or transit through Moscow, we recommend that
you take a plane from Moscow to Tomsk.
Please do not hesitate to request for more detailed instructions, including those on transit in Russia.
Be sure to let us know about your route to Tomsk and arrival time. If necessary, we will meet you at
the airport of Tomsk or Novosibirsk.
We draw the attention of foreign participants of the Workshop about the strict fulfillment of your stay
within Russia, in agreement with your visa. Leaving Russia with an expired visa will result to serious
obstacles on the side of the migration service. Extension of short-term visa is impossible.
Secondly note that in entering in Russia you will receive an immigration card (a small piece of paper
containing important informations whose size is, approximately, the same as of your passport). This
document is required during your stay in Russia and shall be requested by the Hotel service. You
need to deliver this document in the immigration service to leave Russia.
Registration fee
The registration fee for the Workshop partially covers the organizational costs, and amounts to
100 Euro for foreign participants and 2000 rubles for participants from Russia and the former Soviet
Union. For participants younger than 35 years, the registration fee is half of the amount specified.
Graduate and undergraduate students are exempt from registration fee.
The registration fee must be paid by the Workshop participants as individuals through a bank money
transfer in rubles or euros. Payment of registration fee in other currencies is not possible.

The Organizing Committee kindly requests you to send scans or bring copies of payment documents on the
transfer of your registration fee. The Organizing Committee does not issue additional documents on payment
of registration fee in non-cash form. The Organizing Committee requests that you, if possible, pay
your registration fee before May 1, 2016.
In agreement with the Organizing Committee, during the Workshop payment of registration fee in cash
through the Organizing Committee is allowed only to the Russian participants. The Workshop participants
who have paid their registration fee in cash are issued cash receipts and payment receipts of strict
accountability in the course of one working day.
The Russian participants of the Workshop are also permitted to pay their registration fee on behalf of
a legal entity. In this case, it is necessary to conclude a contract between two legal entities:
Tomsk State University and a payer entity in Russia. To conclude contracts, Workshop participants
are required to contact the Organizing Committee before May 1, 2016
